To The Turkish Representative Of UN
East Turkistan, is the name of the region that is referred to the eastern part of the Greater Turkistan, with an area of nearly 1 million 6oo thousand square kilometers where wild massacre is being exerted on Turks today.

Many leaders of East Turkistan like Osman Batur who had struggled for the rights and freedom of Turks were killed, years ago.  Meanwhile the name “East Turkistan” had been changed into “Sinkiang” that means “newly conquered land”.

After that, the demands of liberty for Turks in The East Turkistan was overcome by the violence of Chinese government. Whole world is not interested in this humanity tragedy.

Between the years 1933- 43 when the East Turkistan was completely colonized by Soviets, the number of arrested Turks reached 300 thousand during the intellectual genocide which was done by Stalin in the years 1937-38. It is known that the number of Turkish intellectuals that were killed is 100 thousand. The intellectual massacre that began with stalin is still being continued.

It is not to be forgotten that the exterminate policy of Russia and China is the same. There were nearly 4 million Uyghur and 200 thousand Chinese  living in the East Turkistan in the years 1952-54.

The political actions which are under control of Mao Zedung like “The Action of Overcoming For The Opposite Revolutionaries”, “The Action Against the Native Nationalism”, “Cultural Revolution” had used violence against the East Turkistan by the Chinese occupation  in mid 1950’s. In this period, the names of the universities of The East Turkistan were changed, the graduated students were marked and they had to live under constraint.

İklil Kurban is one of those victims that graduated from Shin Cang University who had finished his lifelong of 24 years in Chinese Prisons and working camps between 1955 and 1979. Burhan Şehidi who was a rector of this university had been imprisoned for 6 years during the Şın Şisey period and 10 years during the Mao Zedung period. Hamut Mahmudi, the president of the history section of the university was found dead in prison. Hemit Seidi, the literature lecturer of the university, had been imprisoned for many years.

The East Turkistan Turks, the basic nation of The East Turkistan, have been living under the oppression of China for 250 years.

Uyghurs, the basic nation of those lands, had protested the lynching to Uyghurs at an office  done by Han Chineses on 28th June 2009 Sunday and had continued their reactions untill 5th June 2009.  The worth of this action is to be killed collectively that their heads are crushed by rocks.

The Chinese government built great prisons in the region and he accommodated hundred thousands of released people in East Turkistan for long time in order to change the demographic structure. Thus, hundred thousands of guilty person became a part of East Turkistan society.
There is a civil occupation policy and the oppression of Chinese security forces on one hand; and a big illegal and immoral population on the other hand. Turks, the basic nation of East Turkistan are under pressure in this condition.

The Han Chinese that were accommodated in the region by now, could not quieten the East Turkistan Turks expressing their fair requests. Chinese security forces on duty in the region supported them, and many armed forces were sent to the region after disability. The events became a massacre. The number of died people during the incidents are said to be 150-200 by Chinese officials, it is expressed as thousands by the neutral observers.

These informations were reported from the territory that shooting the unarmed Turks of East Turkistan and lynching efforts of crowded groups did not satisfy Chinese government and more than 100 Uyghur were executed. Finally the video of two Uyghurs that are being lynched first and their heads are being crushed with rocks by Chinese security forces is a lesson for all humanity. The number of wounded people can not be estimated.

The territory that is closed to the media, is turned in to a collective exterminating death camp for the Turks by Chinese government. The incidents that we saw, showed us more tragic massacres are about to be lived.

Chinese government instead of judging himself, is trying to punish one of the leaders of East Turkistan, Rabia Kadir who was sent into exile. But the real reason of recent incidents is the bullying of Han Chineses that were accommodated by Chinese government according to a plan to change the demographic structure of East Turkistan and to expel Uyghurs from their historical country.

If the required reaction is not shown to China for the incidents in East Turkistan, this massacre will be seen as genocide in Tibet, Mongolia and Manchuria.

•    Chinese government who decided to increase the investments in order to increase the number of Chinese people in East Turkistan would say “we want to invest and increase the development of the region, but Turks raise objection.” But the main purpose is to change the demographic structure of the region.

•    China realizes nearly all nuclear tests in the East Turkistan territory. This situation eliminates the most basic human right of "the right to reproduce" because of the nuclear fallout can seriously damage reproduction. If the dating to become pregnant, curettages, sterilizings are added to this the situation will be understood better. The right to reproduce must be given back to the basic nation of East Turkistan.

•    We are informed that the prisoners are killed and are executed for their organs.

•    We are informed from the territory, that  more than 100 Uyghur were executed, two Uyghur that are lynched first and their heads are crushed with rocks by Chinese security forces. We want the process to be stopped and the relevant people to be punished.

•    The prohibition to worship in mosques of Urumchi and also whole East Turkistan must be ended.
•    Missionary actions that had been prohibited by the state of China all over the country is set free in East Turkistan. This process must be ended.

•    This wild massacre which were applied step by step in East Turkistan must be included on the agenda of Islamic Development Organization and United Nations.

•    The incidents and the executions must be investigated by a committee which will be constituted by United Nations High Commissioners for Human Rights.

•    Chinese government must end the executions about the incidents on 28th June-5th July 2009.

•    In order to investigate the incidents in its own place, a commission must be constituted from the NGOs that are active on Human Rights and environment.

The incidents in East Turkistan is definitely violation of the human rights. We call of duty the representatives of United Nations and all other responsible organizations to stop the massacre and we want the guilty people to be punished.
